Jae Tips Nike Air Bakin Low “Purple Stardust” first look, Spring 2027
Jae Tips previewed a Nike Air Bakin Low collab in “Purple Stardust” ahead of ComplexCon 2026. Two colorways are listed for Spring 2027, with SKUs and a $160 men’s retail already circulating.
What was shown ahead of ComplexCon
Bronx designer Jae Tips showed an upcoming Nike Air Bakin Low in “Purple Stardust” ahead of ComplexCon 2026. Coverage of the preview describes a mostly light-purple upper, green lining, blue laces, a black outsole, small interlocking Swooshes near the forefoot, and his familiar “SAVIOR” branding on the tongue and worked into the AIR lettering on the heel.
A second colorway, “Cobalt Bliss,” is also listed alongside this pair. The collab is a low-top take on the Air Bakin, which Nike first released in 1997. Reports note that Jae Tips’ version looks noticeably different from the in-line Air Bakin Low Nike Sportswear has already shown, and that Nike is separately bringing the model back more broadly, including original Varsity Red and Varsity Royal looks.
Listed SKUs, window, and retail
Product listings circulating with the first look name two men’s pairs at a reported $160, with a Spring 2027 window:
- Purple Stardust — Black/Blue Beyond-Purple Stardust-Arctic Pink-Pine Green, style IV6795-001
- Cobalt Bliss — Cobalt Bliss/Chile Red-Varsity Maize-Atlantic Blue-Pine Green, style IV6795-400
One report says the collab is expected through Nike.com and select retailers. Another still treats full release mechanics as unconfirmed even while listing the same season and SKUs. Treat the date, channels, and price as reported listings, not a locked drop calendar, until Nike publishes a firm on-sale date.
How to track it without overcommitting
This is a long-dated first look, not a live restock. Log both style codes now so intake and listings stay distinct when samples, raffles, or SNKRS pages appear. Do not assume scarcity, aftermarket premiums, or sell-through from a preview photo. If you later source at retail, confirm the pair is actually available at a price that still works after fees before you list it — the same discipline as checking retail before you promise stock.
When both colorways hit, keep them as separate SKUs and sizes. Cross-list only units you hold, and wait for authenticated comps before setting asks. A collab first look is useful for the watchlist; it is not evidence of demand or margin.
