Palace’s new London flagship brings an in-store-only Burberry launch

Palace’s Burberry collaboration will be sold only at its new London flagship, which opens on November 5. For sellers, the launch means sourcing at 8 Poland Street rather than planning around an online release.

Burberry launches only at 8 Poland Street

Palace’s new flagship opens at 8 Poland Street, London, on November 5, with its Burberry collaboration available exclusively in-store. The release is tied to this location, not an announced online drop or a launch across Palace’s other shops.

That sales channel is deliberate. Palace co-founder Lev Tanju says the brand wanted something special for the new London store. The Burberry project began after Palace approached people it knew at the British fashion house, who welcomed the idea.

For a resale business outside London, the immediate question is access to the store, not checkout software or an online release time. The available launch details don’t establish opening hours, queue arrangements, purchase limits or whether any entry system will apply.

Prices, a full product list and the size range also aren’t established in the available information. Treat those as checks to make before committing travel costs or accepting customer requests. An announced store opening doesn’t confirm that a particular item or size will be available when you arrive.

The same caution applies to advance listings. Our guide to sourcing at retail before you list explains the checks to make before promising stock you don’t hold. Here, the confirmed buying route is one physical address.

Address-themed merchandise is separate from Burberry

The Burberry collaboration isn’t the only launch merchandise. Palace is also preparing a separate set of store-exclusive products built around the number 8. That number refers to the Poland Street address and turns into an infinity symbol when rotated 90 degrees.

Keep those two groups distinct when checking products or describing a purchase: the Burberry collaboration and Palace’s address-themed store merchandise. Both are attached to the opening, but the available description doesn’t identify the number-8 range as part of the Burberry collaboration.

The store will also carry Palace’s regular products and skate decks. Their presence alongside the opening exclusives doesn’t make every product sold at Poland Street a store-exclusive release. Check the identity of the actual item before using that description in a listing.

No production quantities or completed resale transactions are established by the launch information. A one-store release describes where an item can be bought; it doesn’t establish how many exist or what buyers will pay later. Don’t use the exclusive sales channel alone to set a resale forecast.

The nearly 2,700-square-foot store keeps pieces of Palace history

The new flagship occupies nearly 2,700 square feet. Its interior draws on the British Museum, English churches and London skate spots, with archival imagery and stained-glass windows. Palace’s Tri-Ferg logo also becomes a raw oak bench and stool.

Several details connect Poland Street to Palace’s first store on Brewer Street. The P-shaped marble tiles match the original shop. A Rolls-Royce grille and a photograph of the Queen have also moved to the new location; both originally came from Tanju’s grandfather’s South London restaurant.

The shop includes surviving seating from Victoria Benches, a London skate spot. Palace acquired three benches during the site’s demolition and kept them until it had a use for them. Another bench was made for the store, rather than recovered from a church as a rumour suggested.

Those details explain the archive-like setting without changing the release terms. For the November 5 opening, check the store’s entry arrangements, product prices and available sizes before making a sourcing commitment.
