Selling on POIZON: how European resellers get onboarded

Every marketplace you add is the same trade: a new demand pool against new operational overhead. POIZON is unusual because the demand pool is enormous and the overhead is mostly paperwork you do once. This is what the onboarding actually looks like, end to end, and which parts you can skip because RestocksAIO already handles them.

Why POIZON is worth the paperwork

POIZON (得物 / Dewu) is China's largest authenticated sneaker and fashion trading platform. POIZON reports more than 200 million registered users across sneakers, streetwear, fashion and premium lifestyle categories — a demand pool that is effectively closed to European sellers unless they go through a formal merchant onboarding.

That closure is the whole opportunity. The marketplaces most European resellers already list on are the same ones their competitors list on, which is why margins compress toward the same numbers everywhere. A platform with a different buyer base and different local demand curves is one of the few remaining ways to sell the same inventory at a different price, rather than fighting for the same buyer at a lower one.

According to POIZON's own seller material, conversion is strongest in the €80–€400 range, across a catalogue spanning sportswear — Nike, Jordan, Adidas, New Balance, Asics, Salomon, On Running, Puma, Arc'teryx — through to luxury houses including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and Polo Ralph Lauren. If that band is where most of your stock sits, it is worth a look.

Three ways to work with them

POIZON does not run a single seller model. European sellers choose between three, and the right one depends mostly on how much of the operation you want to keep:

  • Marketplace — you bid competitively by category, with commission-based settlement. The most control, and the most active management.
  • Smart Listing — you supply inventory at your own price point, and POIZON manages the product listings, authentication and end-consumer service.
  • Consignment — the fully hands-off route, aimed at sellers who want sales efficiency more than control.

Which model you land on is part of the onboarding conversation rather than something you pick from a dropdown, so go in knowing which one you want and why.

The terms that actually matter

Before the paperwork, the operational shape of the deal for European business sellers:

TermWhat it means
Entry feeFree — no onboarding or platform fees
SettlementWeekly, biweekly or monthly, your choice
ShippingDispatch within 3 working days of order confirmation; you cover shipping to POIZON's warehouse
Quality controlPOIZON runs QC at its international warehouse. Once an order passes, it ships and you are settled
ReturnsAfter QC approval, POIZON handles all return and exchange communication with the buyer

Two of those deserve attention before you commit. The 3 working day dispatch window is a real operational constraint — if your fulfilment is a weekend-batch operation, that needs to change before you list, not after your first order. And because settlement happens after QC passes at POIZON's warehouse, your cash conversion cycle is longer than on a platform that pays on delivery scan. Neither is a problem; both are things to plan for.

Operator tipModel the longer settlement cycle before you list volume. A platform that pays weekly after warehouse QC ties up more working capital per unit than one that pays on delivery — worth knowing at 200 units, not at 20.

Step 1: documents and registration

The registration itself is short. What holds applications up is the documentation, so prepare it first. You need two things, both as PDF:

  • Company registration certificate — one per entity you intend to sell under. If you operate an Italian company and a Spanish company, that is two sets of documents, not one.
  • Bank certificate — the official PDF from your bank showing your IBAN. A screenshot of your banking app is not this.

Once registered, log into the seller dashboard and finish three items that are easy to miss because they sit behind separate menus: confirm your contract under My Agreement, add your warehouse address under Information, and upload your bank certificate under Finance. Applications stall on those three far more often than on the registration form itself.

Use the right linkRegister through the RestocksAIO onboarding link rather than the POIZON homepage. It carries channel attribution that routes your application to the team handling RestocksAIO sellers instead of the general merchant queue — which is the difference between a named contact and a support ticket.

Step 2: the catalogue rules that break listings

POIZON has three data requirements that are stricter than most platforms, and getting them wrong is the main cause of rejected or mis-sized listings.

First, size group is mandatory for footwear and apparel — accepted values are IT, US, FR, UNI and UK. This is the one that bites. A listing that goes out under the wrong size region does not fail loudly; it sells, at the wrong size, to a buyer who then opens a case. Set the correct size region on your inventory before you sync, not after.

Second, you supply both the discounted price and the retail (original) price for each product, not just the price you want. Third, the supply price is the settlement amount and must be inclusive of VAT — so it is the number you actually receive, not a pre-tax figure you mark up later. If you are used to quoting ex-VAT and letting the platform gross it up, that is a margin error waiting to happen on your first batch.

Step 3: the integration you do not have to build

This is where POIZON's standard onboarding and the RestocksAIO route diverge sharply.

Normally, step two of POIZON onboarding asks you to involve your IT provider and hand over a system URL, access credentials, and API documentation describing every field — because POIZON integrates directly with your inventory management system. For most resellers that is either a project with a real cost attached or a reason to stop reading.

You skip it entirely. RestocksAIO is already built against POIZON's OpenAPI, so there is no system to expose, no credentials to hand over and no field mapping to document. You tell your onboarding contact you are syncing through RestocksAIO, then authorize the connection from Settings. POIZON uses OAuth rather than a username and password form: you approve access in the browser, POIZON redirects back, and the connected profile saves itself.

PlatformPOIZON in RestocksAIOListing, inventory, order and fulfillment context for eligible POIZON seller accounts, alongside the rest of your marketplaces.

What the connection can do afterwards depends on the permissions POIZON grants your account — access is account and permission dependent, so some actions may be unavailable even on an account that logs in fine. The step-by-step flow, including what the callback does and how the profile appears, is in Connect POIZON.

Going live, and what the job looks like after

When your documents are approved and the connection is running, POIZON schedules a short operational call before launch: a walkthrough of the seller dashboard, the full order and fulfilment workflow, and any remaining questions. Take it seriously — it is the cheapest time to ask about edge cases in returns and settlement.

After that, being a POIZON merchant is five recurring tasks: registration (done once), catalogue sync, dispatching within three working days, managing your payout cycle, and updating prices. Two of those five — the catalogue sync and the repricing — are the ones RestocksAIO absorbs into the workflow you already run for your other marketplaces, which is the entire argument for adding the platform this way rather than as another browser tab.

If you are weighing POIZON against other expansions, the where to sell in 2026 breakdown covers how to think about marketplace mix, and the multi-platform selling playbook covers keeping stock honest once one pair is live in several places at once.

Next steps

The sequence that works, in order:

  • Get your company registration certificate and bank certificate into PDF form, one set per entity.
  • Register through the RestocksAIO onboarding link in the Become a POIZON Seller guide, then complete My Agreement, Information and Finance in the dashboard.
  • Fix your size regions and make sure your pricing is VAT-inclusive before you sync anything.
  • Authorize the connection in RestocksAIO and take the pre-launch call.

Onboarding, approval, contracts and settlement are POIZON's side of the process — we can help with the sync, but we do not decide who gets approved. The docs guide links their platform deck and their own onboarding document, which carry direct contact details for the team handling RestocksAIO sellers.

FAQ

Do I need a developer to integrate with POIZON?

No. POIZON's standard onboarding asks sellers to expose their inventory system — a system URL, access credentials and field-level API documentation — which normally means involving an IT provider. RestocksAIO is already built against POIZON's OpenAPI, so you authorize the connection with OAuth from the Accounts screen instead. There is nothing to expose, map or maintain on your side.

What documents does POIZON require to onboard a European seller?

Two, both as PDF: a company registration certificate for each entity you plan to sell under, and an official bank certificate from your bank showing your IBAN. After registering you also need to confirm your contract under My Agreement, add a warehouse address under Information, and upload the bank certificate under Finance. Those three dashboard steps are the most common cause of a stalled application.

How quickly do I have to ship a POIZON order?

Within 3 working days of order confirmation, and you cover the shipping cost to POIZON's warehouse. POIZON then runs quality control at its international warehouse; once an order passes QC it is dispatched to the buyer and you are settled on your chosen weekly, biweekly or monthly cycle. Plan for that longer cash conversion cycle before committing volume.

Is there a fee to join POIZON?

POIZON's European seller terms list no entry fee — no onboarding or platform charge to join. Settlement is commission-based under the Marketplace model, while Smart Listing and Consignment settle against the price you supply. The commercial specifics for your category are agreed during onboarding rather than published as a fixed rate card.
